Apprenticeship course postponed for hundreds

What a headline grabber! And of course no quite what it seems either. This is all about a non traditional apprenticeship that is one without an employer being involved. Thus, when the apprenticeship is completed the apprentices are just turfed onto the job market. Not quite sure I agree with these types of courses let alone them being called apprenticeships - just a way of getting people of the stats i.e. they are non unemployed anymore! In this case, the course provider has been told to cancel because those enrolled have no guarantee of employment with another organisation once completed. Bizzare!
