This is all about a claim from the heirs of the founder of the French car company Renault whcih was nationlised way back in 1945. Apparently their claim was all based around that the nationalisation was a violation of fundamental legal and property rights! Quite why then has it taken this long to make that challenge I might well ask? Well the court has ruled that it can not rule on the claim. Surprise of surprises, the hiers are going to appeal against that decision - talk about chasing the money, no matter what they say, this is all about t getting their mits on the cash or as it is now the euros!
